WE THINK KIDS ARE AWESOME & IMPORTANT!

Here’s some ways for kids to engage with the Church:

Sundays + More

  • We have in person Sunday School for kids in grades Pre-Primary to 5 every Sunday.

    • Families begin the Sunday church service together in the Worship Centre. Kids are dismissed for Discovery Park partway through the service.

    • We’re using video-based curriculum as we learn through the Bible together, from cover to cover, in a fun and engaging way.

  • Wednesdays at suppertime look for "Make Sundays Stick" on Instagram and Facebook. This weekly post will offer prompts that you can use to talk to your kid(s) and reinforce the main point from Sunday.

At-Home Discipleship

There are 168 hours in a week. I have the privilege of seeing many of your kids for about one hour a week.

The Children’s Ministry Leaders and I do what we can to disciple and share Jesus with them. But a lot more time is spent by you, with them. And it's good to develop habits of discipleship at home. Consider incorporating these three things into your family routine:

  • Attend the Sunday church service.

  • Use the Wednesday "Making Sundays Stick" prompts to ask questions during suppertime or bedtime.

  • Start a bedtime routine that includes a devotion and prayer.

    • Unsure what devotion to read with your kids at bedtime? We have some at the church library you can borrow. I also have a few favourites if you are looking for suggestions. If you have a Bible App on your phone or tablet, there are likely kids devos available on it as well.

Infant & Preschool

World of Wonder (WoW) is a space for infant and pre-school aged children to engage in age-appropriate play, exploration and worship on Sunday mornings.

We are happy to provide this fun, clean and spacious room where parents/guardians can bring their young children during the worship service so our volunteers can play and engage with them.

Children 2 to 4 years old will be introduced to a time of worship, using video-based curriculum that is specially designed for preschoolers and includes a Bible story and music.

For parents/guardians wishing to stay and make use of the WoW facility - we have a nursing room, crib, change table and children’s washroom.

PRE-Primary to Grade 5

Discovery Park is the kids worship space used for our Sunday morning Children’s Program, for kids in grade Pre-Primary to 5.

We are excited to provide engaging Bible teachings using Jesus-centered curriculum, games and small group activities.

We’re all about having fun while we learn about God’s love for us and how we can love Him back, and love others!
