2023 El salvador Youth Mission Trip
In March 2023, a team of nine teens and three adult leaders from Immanuel’s Youth Group traveled to El Salvador for a life-changing mission experience. Partnering with a local non-profit, we worked alongside local experts to build latrines for families in need—improving health, dignity, and opportunities for those we served. Beyond the work, we worshiped with a local church, where Pastor Hannah shared a sermon translated into Spanish, and we were welcomed into homes to hear people’s stories. We also had the incredible experience of swimming in the ocean, eating new delicious foods, zip-lining over a coffee plantation, taking in the beauty of God’s creation in a whole new way.
