IBC offers many programs for all ages.  Children are VERY important to God and to us.  We take the responsibility God has given us - to teach/show His Love - very seriously - especially to children and youth.

 We have the following programs for your children:

Nursery - 9:00 am & 10:30 am each Sunday Morning (ages newborn to age 3)

Discovery Park - 10:50 (approx.) to noon each Sunday Morning (ages 3 to grade 6)

Groups that will resume in the fall of 2010:

Youth Small Group each Sunday Morning at 11:00 am - noon.  (Jr. & Sr. High)

Sr. High Youth - Monday nights from 7-8:30 pm at Pastor Micah's house - 9 Walnut Court., Salmon River

Tuesday Night Youth - here at the church 7-8:30 pm (Jr. & Sr. High)

KD Thursdays - First United Church Hall - 3 pastors from the Truro area serve a FREE lunch to CEC students over the lunch hours.  With their helpers, they serve approximately 500+ students each week!

Many other special activities throughout the year for our Youth!

Here's what Sunday Morning looks like:

During the 9:15 service, children are invited to leave and go to Discovery Park in Robertson Hall.  During this time they have a large group teaching time, with lots of fun, music, games.  Then they break up into small groups, depending on their age.  Discovery Park continues through the second 11:00 service to enable parents to participate in Adult Electives which take place throughout the morning.  If you would like to attend the 11:00 worship time, you can bring your children to Discovery Park at 9:45, drop them off, go to an Adult Elective and then attend church at 11:00.

*During the summer, Discovery Park meets only partway through the 10:30 am service, and nursery is available for both services *

Our nursery is available for ages newborn to age 3.  We have a caring staff of volunteers that will gladly take care of your little one while you attend church, Discovery Park or an Adult Elective.
